Original title is ā€œWeg uit Ovierto!ā€ which is Dutch for Leaving Ovierto.

Four sisters are fighting over a man. This man is their ticket out of their hometown, Ovierto. The story for this board game was inspired by the Shakespeare’s play ā€˜The taming of the shrew’.

The game consists out of a digital board and small theaters hanging above it. These theaters play animations in reaction to what the players do on the board. When the sisters are in a fight the players are having a card battle.

This boardgame hase different layers.

  1. The story it self which the players try to get the ending they want.

  2. The board it self is a character that is manipulating the players.

  3. The complete setup of this game was placed in the canteen because the players themselves become part of the show.

Behind the scenes is where the board is controlled. The actor that plays the voice of the board, tries to manipulate the situation. If a player angers the board, the rules might change a bit so that another player has the advantage.
